Warning! The installation should be performed by a professional mechanic to avoid any damages!

1. Switch off the ignition.

2. Locate the ESL connector. To find the correct connector, remove the cover under the steering wheel (above the driver's legs) - there are screws in the steering wheel adjustment area that you must unscrew and remove the cover.

2. Find the ESL unit and disconnect the connector.

3. Insert the emulator wires to the ESL connector according to the diagram assigned to the appropriate car model (list below). After connecting the emulator, try to turn the key. The emulator LEDs indicate respectively:
- green - correct communication
- blue - power supply

Sometimes in Mercedes E-Class W211/S211 and Vito/Viano W639 the red wire should be connected in place of PIN 4. If the connection in place of PIN 2 does not work, connect the red wire in place of PIN 4.
