1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Find a big yellow connector under the seat.

3. Unlock and open the connector.

4. Remove the 'L' shaped connector by sliding it to the left.

5. Using a small screwdriver, push the pins in the holes and remove the seat belt's wires (black and red). Then insert the seat belt emulator's wires in their place.

6. Insert the connector back into the original position and lock the yellow connector.

• BMW 5 Series E60/E61 (2003-2010)
• BMW 6 Series E63/E64 (2003-2010)
• BMW X5 E70 (2006-2013)
• BMW X6 E71/E72 (2008-2014)

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Find a big yellow connector box under the seat.

3. Open the connector box.

4. Remove the seat belt connector (black and red wires).

5. Using a small screwdriver, push the pins in holes and remove the seat belt's wires. Then insert the seat belt emulator's wires in their place.

6. Insert the connector back into the original position and lock the yellow connector.

In case the unfastened seat belt warning light or sound is still present after connecting the emulator

The seat belt emulator has a switch hidden inside. If the seat belt warning is still turned on after connecting the emulator then turn off the ignition, open the back of the emulator and change the switch setting according to the information below:

- if you have a seat belt emulator then inside the emulator you will find one switch. Move it to a different position. The seat belt warning should be turned off after starting the engine.

- if you have a 2-in-1 device (seat mat emulator with seat belt emulator) then inside the emulator you will find five switches. Change the 4th and 5th switch to position 4. OFF 5. ON. The seat belt warning should be turned off after starting the engine.

3. Location of the seat belt connector for following cars:

• BMW 7 Series E65/E66 (2001-2008)

1. Find the seat belt connector shown on the photo below. The connector is located in the front part of the seat.

2. Cut the wires in a place marked with a blue line. Then connect the emulator to the wires on the side marked with an arrow. You need to connect black wire with black wire and red wire with the white wire.

4. Location of the seat belt connector for following cars:

• BMW i3 (2013-present)
• BMW 2 Series F45/F46 (2014-present)
• BMW 3 Series F30/F31/F34/F35 (2011-2019)

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Find a big yellow connector box under the seat and open it.

3. Take out the white connector with 2 wires: purple and orange-black.

4. Pull out the purple wire and replace it with the emulator's red wire. Then pull out the orange-black wire and replace it with the emulator's black wire.

5. Insert the connector back into the original position and lock the yellow connector.

5. Location of the seat belt connector for following cars:

• BMW 1 Series F20/F21 (2011-2019)
• BMW 2 Series F22/F23/F87 (2013-present)
• BMW 4 Series F32/F33/F36 (2013-2020)
• BMW 5 Series F10/F11/F07 (2010-2017)
• BMW 6 Series F06/F12/F13 (2011-2018)
• BMW 7 Series F01/F02 (2008-2015)
• BMW X3 F25 (2010-2017)
• BMW X4 F26 (2014-2018)
• BMW X5 F15 (2013-2018)
• BMW X6 F16 (2014-2019)

1. Turn the ignition off.

2. Find the seat belt buckle connector. The easiest way to find it is to take a look under the seat belt buckle. You will notice a black cable that goes from the seat belt buckle. At the end you will find a black connector with two wires: black and red.

3. Disconnect the connector and remove the wires from the connector. Then insert the emulator's wires into the connector and connect the device with your car.
