The fault codes disappeared but the SRS/Airbag light is still present and now it is flashing (blinking). What should I do?

If the fault codes in your diagnostic scanner are not present anymore but the SRS/Airbag light is flashing it means the SRS Control Unit is opened for programing and needs to be close (lock) manually. The control unit sometimes opens itself when there is a problem with the SRS system (like a broken seat mat sensor).

To close (lock) the SRS control unit you need one of the following tools: DAS, Monaco, Vediamo or Xentry. All of these tools are a part of the Star Diagnosis. Below you will find instruction videos showing how to lock the control unit using each tool. Important information, there must be no fault codes present in your diagnostic scanner in order to close (lock) the control unit. If there is a fault code you will not be able to lock the control unit.

Vediamo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp9uFyuIHAA

Xentry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b0n1vbf09Y

If you have a different diagnostic scanner then you can watch the above videos and check if your diagnostic tool have a similar locking function somewhere.
