Description

The emulator is in developing stage. Might not work with all cars.

The seat mat emulator simulates the presence of a person sitting in the passenger seat. It removes the SRS error and turns off the airbag warning light caused by a broken seat occupancy mat. The emulator is a diagnostic device to verify the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to make sure that the SRS error displayed on a dashboard is caused by a faulty seat mat. If your seat mat is broken, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will turn off after installation. If you have a different problem with your car, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will still be present.

FOR FOLLOWING CARS:

BMW cars sold in USA and Canada, and equipped with a seat mat plug with 3 wires (colors: red, white, brown). Please check your seat mat before purchase. This emulator will not work with mats with 2 or 4 wires. This emulator will NOT work with cars sold in other countries than USA and Canada.

The emulator is intended for diagnostic use only. It is a diagnostic device designed to verify the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to determine whether the SRS/Airbag warning in your car is triggered by a defective seat mat sensor. The emulator is not a factory device. It should not be used as a substitute for an original sensor solution. After performing the diagnosis, you should disconnect the emulator and reconnect the original sensor. In the event of an accident, the passenger airbag will ALWAYS deploy (with or without a passenger in the seat) if the emulator is still connected. Do not place a child seat on the front passenger seat! We strongly advise informing all users of the vehicle about the presence of the emulator. Ensure that fitting this emulator for diagnostic purposes does not violate any laws in your country. By making a purchase, you agree that we are not liable for any damages or losses that may arise from the use of the emulator, and we are not responsible for any issues with your airbag system. We disclaim responsibility for direct or indirect damages or injuries caused by improper use of the device.
